Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary underground system of over 220 km of tunnels, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travelers who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War, Cu Chi tunnel tours.

The tunnels (BEN DUOC) are located approximately 70 km from Ho Chi Minh city. The tour departs at 8:00  or 12:00 from Vietnam Adventure Tours office or from your hotel in district 1. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass the lush, endless rice fields and the ducks are water buffaloes swimming in the rivers. You might find it hard to imagine that once the area was almost completely destroyed by bombs and mines from the war, when Cu Chi was a “free target zone “.

Once we arrive, you will get a chance to walk through some of the tunnels, discover the hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you like, try to cook with the smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers to cook during the war. You can even try foods which the soldiers lived on. If you’re feeling brave, or curious, you can even try your hand at shooting at AK-47, one of the guns used during the war.

Head back to the city in the afternoon; the tour finishes at 15 PM

Around 7:30-7:45am. Get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda – one of the most well-known temples in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful, ancient and significant temple in the Mekong Delta.

Your trip continues from here to My Tho, travel on a motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui, the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by water coconut palms on both sides.

The boat cruises to Ben Tre province known as “The Land of Coconut. Here you’ll visit the coconut candy-making shop, see how the local products are made from coconut.

Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.

After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village.

In the afternoon, head to Can Tho – the heart of the Mekong Delta region. Check in at the hotel, free time to explore the city at night.

Overnight in Can Tho

Start your day early by boarding a boat to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market. The market is most vibrant in the early hours of the morning. Witness the hustle and bustle of boats selling fruits, vegetables, and various local products.

– During your boat tour, make a pit stop at one of the boats selling vermicelli and coffee. You can choose to buy and enjoy these local delicacies while soaking in the unique atmosphere of the market.

Continue your boat tour to visit a Rice Noodle Factory. Here, you can witness the traditional process of making rice noodles.

We’ll also take some time to explore a bustling local market, where colorful stalls are brimming with fresh produce, spices, and vegetables.

Return to your hotel for check-out, enjoy breakfast and freshening up after the morning’s activities.

10:00 :Private car will drive you to Rach Gia city.

12:00: Hydrofoil from Rach Gia ferry to Phu Quoc island.

13 :10 : Take Ferry to Phu Quoc 

15:40 :Arrived at Phu Quoc ferry, transfer by van to hotel, check in.
